Application for a Medical Education Grant
Takeda provides grants for medical education activities with the
following criteria:
- All payments must be payable to an institution or to an
association, not to an individual.
Important points to remember
To submit a request to Takeda, please be prepared to provide as
much detail as possible:
- Requestor full name, job title, and e-mail address
- Type of organization and description of organization
- Name of organization to which payment will be made, address,
and telephone number
- Name of grant
- Amount of funding requested
- Date by which funds are required
- Proposed budget breakdown of funds (ie. honoraria, meals,
faculty travel/accommodation, audio/video, other)
- Therapeutic area to which the funding request is aligned
- Letter of request (on institution letterhead), including a
detailed description (including relevant milestones, budget or
how funds will be utilized, intended audience, patient benefit,
other) and purpose for funding (to be uploaded).
You may be asked to provide additional information if so
required.
Grants cannot be provided to an individual HCP or to an entity
that is controlled in fact by an individual HCP or its family
member, legal representative or agent.
Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an
acknowledgement email which includes an ID # for your request.
If you wish to know the status of your submission, please email
us with your ID # in the subject title and send to
canada.sponsorships@takeda.com.
Please note that review and approval times can vary and are
dependent on the nature of the request. An update on the status of
your submission will be provided within sixty (60) days of
receipt.
